This is a personal review of the Goals Guy 100 Day Challenge.
So here comes my review, as a member of the 100 Day Challenge (I am on day 36 by the time I am writing this)
What you get
When you sign up for the 100 Day Challenge, you get instant membership to the members area, where you can watch all the introductory videos, plus download all the neccesary documents. What are these? Well, to start with, you will have to clearly define your goals, because as the goals guy says, a goal that is abstract is not a goal.
You will have to fill in detail WHAT you want to achieve, and WHEN you will achieve it (the HOW it’s up to you!), you will get the forms for this. Believe me, I discovered that I didn’t really know what I wanted till I sat down and thought about my most important goals.
You will also get a tracking system, so you can check whether you are on track or not (I do it every Sunday). Then you will have to rank your goals, depending on your progress, and then decide what you are going to do next, specially for those goals that are not going as you expected.
You get 100 daily videos (about 4-5 min each). But, luckily, you don’t get all of them at once (that would be overwhelming). Every day there’s a new one to watch. It has became my daily routine to watch it first thing in the morning, while I am having breakfast (by the way, one of my little goals was to get up 15 minutes earlier, achieved!!). Everyday, you will get a ‘daily assignment’ from the video, something to think about the rest of the day.
For each video, you can see all members written comments, and add yours. I strongly advice to post your comments, as writing your commitments so others can see them, reinforces your sense of urgency. It’s also great when, everytime I achieve one of my goals (even when it’s a small one), I get cheered by a lot of ‘strangers’ (well, you get to know them after a while, to be honest).
There is also a members forum, in which Gary Ryan Blair is involved, he will from time to time reply to your questions, and give some greats pieces of advice.
Oh, and I almost forgot! You get some inspirational wallpapers por your computer, plus a screensaver! Can’t be bad 😉
What you can achieve
Well, every person has a different story, and completely different goals. For some of us, money will be a priority. For others, family life; others will want to lose weight (though one of my best friends is trying hard to put on weight, believe it or not, she’s so thin!!!).
So, in my opinion, there is virtually no goal that cannot be achieved. But, hey, bear in mind that it is UP TO YOU to achieve it. The 100 Day Challenge is an incredibly powerful tool (in my humble opinion, the best I’ve found so far), but it is completely useless if you don’t commit 100% (well, let’s settle for 90% 😉
